The new Eiszapfen PRO HardTube fittings from Alphacool are a further development of the well-known, previous Eiszapfen. When developing the fittings, Alphacool focused specifically on a specific problem: the deformation of PETG HardTubes at high temperatures. These can deform at 60 ° C. Although such a temperature is rarely reached, it can still occur. The Eiszapfen PRO prevent this problem from the start and keep the tubes in position.

Deformation is prevented by the new nylon inserts inside and stabilizes the hard tubes. Furthermore, the fitting still has an O-ring and a compression seal. However, the contact area is much larger than with normal O-rings, which ensures a better hold. Through the use and the compression seal in the screw connection, the tube is reinforced from the inside and outside.

The HardTube does not slip even under higher loads. Alphacool has tested the tensile strength of up to over 8kg! So you don’t need to worry about this.
