With the help of this adapter from Akasa it is possible to connect devices with an HDMI input to graphics cards with a mini DisplayPort as output and the converter supports resolutions up to 4k Ultra HD or 2160p @ 30Hz.
This is especially recommended if you want to connect three displays to a graphics card, but none of the monitors has a DisplayPort, but has an HDMI input.
